Parents and Grandparents

 

You may be eligible to sponsor your parent(s) or grandparent(s) to become permanent resident of Canada under the Family Class if

  • You are at least 18 years of age, and are a Canadian citizen or a permanent residence of Canada; and
  • Can satisfy the government that you will support them financially when they arrive by demonstrating that you meet the Low Income Cut-Off (LICO) + 30% for 3 previous taxation years.
